New Tools and Practices for Seeing and Learning in Medicine
On June 27th-29th, 2011, LearnMedImage hosted an invited seminar in Turku bearing the title New Tools and Practices for Seeing and Learning in Medicine. The 30 participants of the multidisciplinary seminar included but were not restricted to educational researchers, experimental psychologists, and radiologists from seven different countries. At the core of discussion were the challenges imposed by new imaging technologies on education and professional practice. The following guests of honour held a keynote presentation: professors K. A. Ericsson, Elizabeth Krupinski, and Sten Ludvigsen.
